i recently attempted to load a clean install with my new
windows xp and found that i had loaded it onto one of my
partitions and that millenium was still on the other, how
do i go about uninstalling the xp from the smaller
partition? or, how should i go about fixing this?

Hi,

If you clean installed to the wrong partition, then whatever OS was
previously on that system is lost. It only preserves the old system when you
upgrade and choose the option to backup the existing system.

All you can likely do is to format that partition and start over.
