I can't change the resolution on my monitor ro 800x600,
when I do this it just changes back. My monitor is
set "default monitor". I don't seem to be able to change
this either. Thank you

"Default monitor" has little to do these days with monitors performing
right. While in the past some monitors REQUIRED it's own driver to
operate correctly, few today do (LCD monitors being the exception).

What you need is to update/ reload your VIDEO driver. IF you know the
video card/chip you have.... check their website for the latest
driver. If not...... check at your PC manufacturers website for one.
