I really enjoy reading about the problems and fixes of PC computers on this
group and it has helped me learn a lot, but it is a little like reading a
text book one paragraph at a time in a random order. I really don't want to
sit in a class and listen to someone spend an hour explaining a byte, so a
course at a Community college is out of the question, Can someone recommend
a good book ( or web site) that will take one from the basics on up,
explaining the function of each part? ( ie : I know what a driver is but
I'd like to learn exactly what it does and how it does it or how does a BUS
port differ from a parallel port?)
Thanks
Bob

about computer.
