I know this is kind of small potatoes, but here goes:

I used to have the "My Pictures" folder files show up in
the list of available background images when changing
backgrounds using the "Properties" - "Desktop" -
Background: list of files. Didn't ever have to "Browse"
for them. (A lot faster and easier to switch)

Now, for some reason unbeknownst to me, they do not show
up in the default list any more.

Any idea on how to get a folder's content to show up in
this menu again?

It sure made switching from one camera shot you get bored
with to another one a snap!

Thanks,
Tom

It will show the contents of your My Pictures folder until you get around
100 pictures in this folder, at which point it stops. If you want to start
seeing them again, you'll need to move some of your pictures elsewhere until
you are down below 100 again.

Thanks for the advice. It WAS kind of full, but now it
only has five or six in there. Still NO pics show up in
the list.

Could it be I have subfolders under My Pictures?
Do the pics in there count towards 100?
They didn't show up before, but might "trip the trigger".

Hmmmmmmmm......

Sorry to answer again, but I have an update.
Plus, I truly want to thank you.

I only had 10 files in the root portion
of My Pictures. I did have 3 sub-folders in
there though, and the files in them must count towards
the limit you set forth, even though they do NOT
show up in the Background list. Once I moved the
sub-folders to another directory, voila!

It worked.

Thanks again.
