I have upgraded from W-XP-Home Ed. to W-XP-Professional
and I want to create a DOMAIN. The steps to do this,
Q308194, mention "Active Directory Users and Computers".
I can not locate this option. It should be at the end of
this path, START/PROGRAMS/ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS/ but it is
not. How do I activate the "Active Directory Users and
Computers" option?

Hi Kevin,

Creating a domain through Active Directory requires the server version of
the Windows software-- Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003. The
client versions of Windows cannot do this.

Kevin,

You will have to introduce a server (2000 or 2003) into the environment and
run dcpromo to create an Active Directory Domain.
