Hi Ramesh,
Appreciate your reply and introducing me to "Error Reporting" ... I
was able to set up Error Reporting, just as you recommended, (Clipmate
hasn't been canceled out yet so no results to report) I'm not familiar
with EventLogs as you also mentioned. If you would, perhaps you could
give me a brief idea.
Thanks again,
Howard

To check the event logs, click start | run | type "eventvwr". Software
section.

Hi Ramesh,
After having set up Error Reporting to notify me when Clipmate had a
conflict, I had hoped to see a window when Clipmate had a problem.
Today it was bounced but there was no indication by Error Reporting. .
However, when I checked the Event Log I found two Errors ...
1. True vector engine Event 1 and
2. Serial keys Event 0
I have no idea what the True Vector Engine might be (tried a Search)
nor Serial Keys. I do believe Clipmate is being bounced out of the
Start menu and taskbar by Live Update ... Today a new Windows flaw was
d/ld and installed .... could this be the culprit and if so is there a
way to prevent it?
Thanks very much again Ramesh.

Howard,
True Vector is related to ZoneAlarm firewall. As for the Clipmate, run it in
compatibility mode (if it is designed for previous Windows versions).

Ramesh,
Set Compatibility Mode as per your last post .... in the fullness of
time I'll know if it was written in a compatible mode.
Well whether it was or wasn't, I and only a stranger to you, learned
greatly from your generous sharing of your knowledge. Really was a
serendipitous pleasure for me to benefit from your expertise and sharp
explanations.
Namaste,
Howard
