View Full Version : Address problems

When I mistype an address in the address bar, instead of receiving the usual
"this page is not available check your typing" or something similar, I
automatically am redirected to this site.
)

Although this is not of major consequence I cannot prevent this from
happening and feel aggrieved that I have no control over this.

I am using IE5 with Win XP home.

Can anyone offer any advice on how to stop this.

Thanks

Helto

Helto,

Your system is affected by spyware / browser hijacker named IGetNet.
Removal Instructions here:
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/IGetNet.html

Best method to remov is to use Ad-Aware. Download it from
www.lavasoftusa.com

Ramesh

I'd be interested to know how you managed to install IE5 under Windows XP -
in order to do so you'd first have to uninstall IE6 which is impossible to
do without buggering up Windows altogether and, to the best of my knowledge
IE5 isn't compatible with XP.
