Register 98 programs with XP

I have installed XP on my 98 computer.
How do I register (or transfer) the 98 programs
with (to) XP?

Simple - you find the discs and reinstall...However, if they came as part of
some recovery CD, then reinstallation is, almost certainly, impossible.
