I'm currently experiencing about 5 to 8 Minutes each time
I reboot my system. If I "uncheck" most of the Files in
the programs file directory in the start-up menu, will
this improve my reboot time?

1: Defrag your hard drive
2: Delete temp internet files and cookies, delete temp files in windows
temp directories
3: run Ad Aware 6 software to remove spyware and spyware cookies that may
slow things down
4: Run Norton Disk Doctor or some other utility that has the ability to fix
your registry and help speed things up
Is your hard disk almost full (if your swap file is being cramped, that may
slow things down)
Are you running a firewall?
Are you running a virus checker?
