home page browwers appears at bottom of screen

when i go to certain sites that i have on my desktop, my
home page browser appears at bottom along with browser
that i accessed, the only way i can get rid of the home
page brower is to right click, then close
if i go back to desktop and click another icon, the
unwanted home page box on bottom changes to that site,
and i must get rid of it (right click then close)before i
can view site, sometimes, this unwanted home page
browswer appears if i click on a link of any page that im
at
