I am wondering how I make it so windows makes logins
secure. I looked on web for info and all I found was
start->ctrl panel->users->advanced tab->secure.... just
when i click on users there is no advance tab... what do i
do?

Hi Dave,
Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2
From there Advanced/Secure Logon
Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

Hi Dave,
Disable Welcome Screen and revert back to Windows classic logon
(CTRL+ALT+DEL, trusted path).
