After upgrading to XP home from 98SE, none of my programs
show up on desktop or in START>Programs.
They are however on my c: drive, but for some reason not
migraded into XP. They do not even show up in ADD/Remove
programs.
What is the easy way to migrated all my previous settings
and programs into XP.
(Looks like they are not even registered in the registery)
Thanks for any insite.

Reinstall them. If none of the reg settings are their, you can't migrate
any data, b/c you donthave any to migrate.

You didn't upgrade, you installed from the cd and opted to "install using
current file system" that left everything on the hard drive and installed XP
around all of the existing files. Best bet - format completely and
reinstall.

Humm... one user suggested reinstalling the programs. Like another, I would
say do a clean install. A clean install will clean up any
miscellaneous/unneeded files, that could clog up your system.
