i cant remove a program

Ok, I put Rebirth (music software/synth) on my computer.
BUT I went to add/remove programs to remove and fine it
removed. but the option to remove remains in add/remove
programs. then when i click it it says a message: "cannot
open install.log"!?!?! Ok, so I may have installed it
twice or something and deleted the original files. I have
done everything. Restore, deleted all involvement with
the registry and Norton win doctor. Does anyone know how
I can remove this program from the list (without
reformatting the entire machine :P).

The invalid entry in the Add/Remove Programs list can be removed via
Registry editing:

Open Regedit.exe
Goto this location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall\<Your
Application Name>

Select the application key and delete it. The entry should now be removed.
