printing and message...

i have the windows xp, I can't seem to use my printer
like on my music folder or any other folder, I can't seem
to fine out how to print a list of my music folder or
others. please help me, also I had tried to install using
my own cd that cae with my pc, the adaptec cd creator,,
it said I couldn't use it cause I would need to buy the
upgrade, now, every time I open my pc a message comes out
on my taskbar icons, saying the drivers aren't installed
or something to that sort. yet it says it will not let
windows work properly, how do I fix this issue please..

If I understand your first question correctly, you would like to print out
a directory listing. A free program called Directory Printer can do this
for you and it can be found here:
http://www.karenware.com/powertools/powertools.asp

For your second question, it sounds like the PC manufacturer included a
free CD burning program that is not compatible with XP. Suggest you contact
their technical support (the PC manufacturer) about this matter. They
should give you a program that works with the operating system they also
supplied to you.
