I have finally gotten the "blaster off my computer with
Norton's help and the latest patches for Windows. Now
everytime I start my computer, I get a message that
says "cannot find winlogin.exe". Should be an easy fix,
but I can't figure it out.

As far as my understanging goes,
'winlogin.exe' is a *bogey*,
'winlogon.exe' is valid Windows-file.

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Look in the right pane for a value called Shell. The value should read
Explorer.exe Yours probably reads something like:
Explorer.exe winlogin.exe
If so, double click the Shell value and make it read Explorer.exe
