I know how to remove the desktop shortcut icon arrow
using regedit. What I can't get rid of is the arrow on
internet shortcuts. I know is a small thing, but those
arrows drive me batty. Anyone know how to get rid of the
arrow on internet shortcuts? Thanx.

Get TweakUI;

TweakUI has an option to rid shortcuts of the arrow.
Hope this helps. Let us know.
