Press the power button and hold it down for at least 5
seconds. This should shut down the machine.
This will get you temporarily back up - it does not fix
the problem however. I just disable sleep mode because I
don't personally like it - if you wish to disable this
mode, do:
right-click on desktop - go to properties.
Screen Saver Tab - click on the Power button.
Here you can tell the computer what to do after certain
amounts of time - I usually pick don't do anything, but
that's just me - set it to whatever you want.
