Hi Tom,
I have reinstalled Windows XP because I had had the same
problem and I have the same problem as you do, but it did
not help at all. I am getting a message: Thank you for
your interest in updating Windows Operating System. In
order to perform an update you need to be running Windows
XP"
Well, Windows XP is running. The microsoft website does
not recognize it somehow. In addition to that problem my
Microsoft Explorer browser does not display the pages
like it should, for example in my web based e-mail I can
no longer include attachments. I am getting a message
that I should upgrade my browser, but when I do the
system does not recognize the upgrade. I am at my wit's
end. I do not know what to do. Please let me know if you
find something that works.
Thanks,
Beajoan
