View Full Version : User Administrator occupied

Hi.
I would like to run WinXP as user "Administrator". The reason for this
is that I have 2 other Win2000 computers on the LAN, which have
"Administrator" as user. To avoid logging on the network with user and
password every time I access these 2 Win2000 systems, I would like to
change WinXP accordingly.
However I noticed that WinXP says that this user is occupied. The list
of users doesn't show "Administrator". Why is that?
How can I log on "Administrator" if it exists or how can I create it if
it doesn't exist?
TIA

This works perfectly. Now I can loggon as "Administrator". However I
would like to delete my initial account ("Georges"), which I had to
install during the WinXP installation process. It's clear that I have to
do this from another account. The only one left is the "Administrator"
account. But when I loggon to this one, the User Account doesn't allow
me to delete this user "Georges".
Why is that?
- Is it required that there are 2 admins, "Administrator" and another
user ("Georges" in my case")?
or
- Does the user Administartor not have the right to delete another
administartor?
TIA
