Icons on the taskbar

Can anyone tell me how to place my desktop shortcuts on
the taskbar? I was able to do this in Win2000.

Hope this is what you are seeking.

"Desktop shortcuts" icon can be drag/drop onto "launch"
bar area next to Start button. Arrange the launch icons
also by drag/drop. If ">>" appears this is listing of
more launch items. These can drag/drop to arrange.
If you want all to be seen use "unlock" to get vertical
bar and drag the vertical bar and then "lock" the bar.
