Hi.

I have 3 computers on my LAN. Two Win2000 and one WinXP. The shares of
the Win2000 can be seen by each other, however the WinXP computer only
sees the Win2000 shares after #20 seconds.

Why is that?

- The logged on users are the same on all 3 computers.
- The IP is fix and unique on all 3 computers.
- pings work fine!

TIA

I noticed that Win2000 and WinXP, both installed on 2 different
partitions on the same computer, show the same effect. The shares are
only visible after #20 seconds.

Since the only common point is the computer (hardware itself) and the
BIOS, is it possible that there are some BIOS settings which produce
this weird behaviour?

TIA
