Do you still have access to the old computer physically? In
other words, can you touch it, connect cables to its ports
or take the hard drive out and install it in your new
computer as a slave?

If you do not have both computer together, do you know who
has the old computer and do they have the knowledge required
to post the pictures on a webpage or set the computer up as
a server so you can download from it. That could introduce
security and virus problems, I prefer the temporary install
as slave option. They could even FedEx the drive to you.

Hi,

1) Network them together and copy them across (DCC, ethernet, etc.)

2) Take the hard drive out of the old machine and temporarily install it as
a slave in the new one. Copy the files over, then remove the disk.

If you have access to the "old" computer, is it new enough to have CD
burning capability and a program that allows data disk burns ? Or, you can
do as I had to; buy enough diskettes for the A drive and copy thiem on
those. Granted, this will take a little time.
