I have XP Pro, with all the latest updates/patches/etc., and when I click on
Internet Explorer, it opens up in slightly less than maximum size by default
(on top right corner of screen, between the _ and the X, is the click choice
that will allow for maximum, but does not come up in maximum by default).
How do I set the maximum screen size as the default screen size? Thanks!

Open IE and DRAG the corner of the window to max size. When you exit, use
File-Close, don't click the "X" sign. That should do it.

If your ARE more a mouse person vs the keyboard, another way to set size
(which works for me), once dragged is to hold Shift while clicking on the
"X" in upper-right. I'll have to try Gordon's suggestion as I am more
keyboard :)

The dragging, alone, did not do it...it wouldn't "stick" as a fix, but the
dragging PLUS the "...hold Shift while clicking on the "X" in
upper-right..." definitely did the trick for me. It "sticks". Thanks,
folk!
