continuous diskette access after upgrading NAV

[Gene]

My diskette keeps accessing over and over after I
upgraded NAV. If it doesn't have a diskette installed
then it will do constant retries (sounds like an electric
motor) until a diskette is inserted. I did a full scan
using updated virus defs. Am i forgetting to do
something? Thanks

One possible cause for this: the Shell Hardware Detection service is
not started. Check in the Control Panel > Administrative Tools >
Services.

One thing you can try is to go to Search to see if you have an
inactive shortcut. Enable advanced options.
