The main computer is in my bedroom but i have not phone
line in the bedroom. Can i dial-up to the internet
throught the ethernet and still have the main computer
and the computer connecting to the main one use the
internet as would normally be if the computer near the
phone line was the main dial-up or do i have to run a
extra cable to the phone line. if you can help plz e-mail
me on . I would very much appriciate
the help as it is a very important to get it sorted. thank-
you

Yes, you can do this.

You can install internet connection sharing on the machine that has the
modem, it can connect to the internet and the other computer connected
through the LAN can share that admittedly dog slow connection.

Given the format of this question it might be easier to use a longer
phone wire though.
