Dead simple XP-XP file sharing

I have 2 XP home machines. I want to be able to access
files on one of them from the other (using only one
monitor). That's all! No shared internet connection,
printers, nothing.

Can you tell me what I need to do?

Hi

The simplest way is to connect the two (with a crossover cable or with normal cables & a hub/switch) then open up then Open the
Control Panels, open the Network Connection icon, then select File -> New Connection...
Then follow the wizard to networking fun.......
