View Full Version : Access to 1 of 3 on wireless network denied

I've attempted to find the solution to this problem in
FAQs, but couldn't. I've got a wireless network with two
desktops and one laptop, all running XP Home. On all
three, I can see the various folders in all three, and I
can access any of the folders on one of the desktops and
the laptop. On the remaining desktop, however, whenever
I try to do anything with one of the folders I've got set
up to share, I'm unable.

If I attempt to, say, copy files from the desktop to the
laptop while I'm on the desktop, I'll get the
message: "Cannot create or replace [folder]: Access is
denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-
protected and that the file is not currently in use." If
I attempt to copy the files while I'm on the laptop, I'll
get the message: "\\computer\folder is not accessible.
You might not have permission to use this network
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to
find out if you have access permissions. Not enough
server storage is available to process this command."

I would sure appreciate any help. Thanks.
