Hi There!

I got a serious problem with my new laptop and our
homenetwork. The network consists of a router, which
distributes the IPs. The physical connection to the
network exists (I can send pings from the laptop to the
other computers, and the connection to the WAN also
works), but my laptop has no access to the workgroup. And
if i am searching for the other computers, it can not
find them, although there is a connection to them. If
someone can help me with this problem it would be great
when he will send me an e-mail to .

Thanx

can you ping other computers by name? No more information about your OS and
network settings, I'm just assuming this is name resolution or master
browser issues.
