Network Settings Greyed Out...HELP!?!

I don't know how this happened, but I lost all my network
settings (DSL AND VPN). When I go in to set them back up
the only selection that is not greyed out is the bottom
(something like broadband connection without password).

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

Don't know if it matters, but while I was fishing around
in different parts of the network panel I got 3 different
error messages at different times. They were: #5, #711,
and #1068.

assuming you are logon as administrator, apply sp1. post back with the
result.
