I've got 4 desktops and a laptop on a wifi network using a
orinoco/agere/proxim bg 2000 router connected to pc #1. For some
reason it seems like I've got two local networks (for sharing
folders/files) because pc #1 and the laptop can see each other and pc
#1, 2 ,3 and 4 can see each other but the laptop can only see #1. I
thought maybe it was a signal problem so I moved the laptop but that
didn't change anything. I can live with this if necessary but after
all the effort getting this network to work, I'd like to finish the
job correctly. It wouldn't have anything to do with NTFS partitions
by chance?? Any ideas what I need to do ?
thanks
ps-- forgot to say all os's are winxp pro
