com ports

How do I change a modem from com port 3 to com port 1 in
windows ME.

usually comport 3 is attached to the pci slot , i think. comport 1 usually
is attached to the outside of your computer, maybe for an external modem.
can somebody correct me on this? S.L.Narasimham.

Geez, try the ME newsgroup? Anyways, I'm not sure you can from Windows, but
you may be able to from your BIOS. Check your computer booklet for details.
