have 95 bought xp home, when attempt to install reply
is "the option to upgrade is not available at this time
because Setup was unable to load the file
C:\\WINDOWS\WINNT32\WIN9XUPG\\W95UPG.DLL a device attached
to the system is not functioning"
After 45 minutes waiting on the phone thought i'd try
this. Any ideas?

Please read this site

You cannot upgrade to win xp from 95. You will have to
upgrade to 98 and then upgrade to xp. the other
alternative is to go for a fresh install. but you will
loose all the programs that you have on 95.
