A while back there was an update to Windows XP that bogged down the system.
Does anyone remember the number of this update.

Thought it was 810833, but later on was rectified by MS and caused no
further problems

Lifted from 'unknown' (24hshd);

811493 was the one causing all the ruckus. On 5/29/03 however, MS released a
new version of 811493 and it has the same number. If you installed after
that date--no problem.
