General Tab disappeared in Internet Options

I have windows XP and my homepage was automatically reset
to comcast.net and when I entered into the internet
options window to reset my homepage to msn.com my general
tab disappeared. I have reinstalled internet explorer 6
and the same thing happens any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank You
