Help Please!!

I have three computers sharing a DSL connection using a Linksys
firewall/router. I have one computer with a cable modem connection only.

My question is how do I connect both networks together? Is there a web site
that explains how this is done?

My private network IP addresses on the DSL connection starts out
192.168.1.x.

Any/All suggestions are welcomed.

I'm not sure what you mean by "connect both networks together", so I'm
making my best guess:

1. You want the three computers on the firewall/router to be able to
share files and printers with the computer that has the cable modem
connection, and:

2. You want the one with the cable modem connection to continue to use
the cable modem for Internet access.

If that's what you want to do:

1. Add a second network adapter to the cable modem computer and
connect it to the router.

2. Disable automatic metrics and define explicit metrics for that
computer's router and cable modem connections. Make the cable modem
metric lower so that Internet access will use the cable modem.

3. Disable XP's built-in firewall on the router connection to allow
file sharing. Enable it on the cable modem connection to prevent
access by other Internet users. Details here:
