Windows XP update problem

[T O M M Y]

I have a 2002 Windows XP Pro installed which has not gone through any
updates till now....And
why?..well I don know...Every time I go to Microsoft Windows XP's update web
page it
first
checks out my computer and then says:" There is no update available at this
time,
check back later.."

I have my firewall off at that time and cookie privacy is set to
medium....Also I don't have any problem with any website nor with my XP...

Any help is much regarded
