Have installed Power Point Reader and don't know how to connect it to
pps files I receive in email other than saving the file and then opening
the reader. I know somewhere in XP is a place to associate file types
with programs but can't locate it.
Thanks - Tom

Try looking in the help system under "To change the program that opens a
file"

If you right click on a PPS file and select 'open with' then select the
power point viewer it will open the file. You can also set 'always open this
file type with'. Other than that, if you go to control panel --folder
options--file types you can set a new association there.
