I have networked three computers. A=Windows xp, B=Windows ME, and
C=Window 95. A can access the shared file on both B & C. However, B & C
can not access the network. When I click on network Places and then
click on Entire Network on either B or C. I get the following message "
Unable to browse network. The requested API isn't supported on the
remote server, For information click help". I tried all the trouble
shooting in the articles posted on this site. Nothing works. The network
trouble shooter is a joke. It does not address this problem as I can
see. I have to create file on B or C and edit them on A, but the printer
on B will only work correctly on B, the Printer on A only works with A,
C does not have a printer but It file will double print on the printer
on B and not at all on the Printer on A. All computer have ethernet
cards and cable connections. The Internet sharing works great and
correctly with A as the access computer. Any help would be great,
however, I can live with the setup as it is in the meantime.
