I'm trying to install the security firewall on my winxp home edition. When
I click OK on the Protect my computer or network tab I get a msg that says
"dependency service or group failed to start".
I have a cable connection. Thanks, Donna

Dvon,
Click Start | Run | Services
Set the following services to AUTOMATIC
Application Layer Gateway Service
Network Connections
Network Location Awareness
Remote Access Connection Manager
Restart Windows. Now, try to enable ICF (Firewall)

Ramesh
