Hey folks,

For the past couple of days, I've been trying to get to either rr.com or
roadrunner.com and been getting an error page saying

Problem Report
Access denied to system because of URL Filter Configuration, while
attempting to retrieve the URL: http://www.rr.com/.

Message ID
FILTER_DENIED

Problem Description
Your system was configured to deny access to this URL.

Possible Problem Cause
Request denied, as specified in the local filter list configuration.

Possible Solution
Contact your network support team if this problem persists.

I've been to those addresses before (though a while ago). Roadrunner is not
my ISP, but they do handle my connection at this end (to Earthlink).

Is anyone else getting the same kind of results from either of these URLs
and/or does anyone know what could be causing it? I have the same issue on
several different PCs on my LAN (win 98, ME, XP Pro) , though I have made no
recent changes to any of them, nor to my network. I have no filters on, no
proxies set, nothin' unusual that I can tell. I've tried clearing history
and and the cache, rebooted by router, my cable modem, etc.

Thanks,

Jeff

I just clicked on the link in your post and went to the site. You must
have something running blocking that site. Check firewall or any ad
blockers/filters. Have you tried setting it as a trusted site in IE or
lowering the security level?
