Not a huge problem here

Everytime I go to restart, or shut down my WinXP Home, I get 4-5 windows
popping up saying certain programs are in use. It eventually works through
them (like ccApps, ZoneAlarm, etc). I've tried closing them from the
taskbar before shutting down, but it still happens.
Is there a way to disable these programs other than the taskbar before
shutting down/restarting?

Remove these programs from the startup group and restart the system

Contact the makers of the programs for possiable fixes.

Thanks Naresh and Chris. I've bookmarked this website and will check
everything I have against their list.
If nothing is there, I'll contact the makers of the programs.
