I'm trying to access shares between WinXP Pro and the
latest Jaguar edition of OSX.
The Mac can view and access all my shares and I can view
the Mac in Network Neighbourhood.
However when I try to connect to the Mac using
\\ip_address\share (the actual path is correct) it asks
for a password. The username and pwd for the Mac user
should work as it is enabled on OSX but it keeps
rejecting the authentication.
Has anyone succeeded in connecting these types of systems
over a simple home netowrk?
