Let's get the facts straight

YOU have:
Windows 98

You WANT:
Office XP

These are 2 different products.

If you have office 97 and are upgrading to office xp,
then it should work. If you do not have a previous
version of office installed, the upgrade will not work.
In this case, you need to get the full version of Office,
not the upgrade.
