I hope this is the right board to post this question. I
recently got a new computer with XP and have set up my
BellSouth DSL connection going through the Broadband
connection with username and password wizard. Previous,
on Windows 98, I didn't have to do anything and was
automatically connected as soon as my computer came on.
I'm wondering if there is an option in XP for it to
automatically connect to your default connection?
Another question is that even though I'm connected to the
internet and my Internet Explorer is set to "never dial a
connection," I frequently get the message that prompts me
to Try Again or Work Offine because it cannot detect my
connection. I click Try Again and it works just fine.
Any way I can avoid getting that message?
Thanks,
John
