I downloaded "Intergate" for a dial-up account, which I
subsequently deleted and went with a cable modem.
However, try and search as I might I cannot get all the
Intergate files out of my computer and I am bombarded
with ads from them, Intergate interferes with my access
to my legimate email and is a general pain in the butt.
I have deleted files, folders; there is something
called "Xupiter" on my computer with toolbars and I don't
even know where that came from!!

Help.

There are several products called "Intergate". Which one did you
download? Where did you download it from?

How did you try to get rid of Intergate? Is there an entry for it in
Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs? If so, click it and click
Change/Remove.

Here's a web page with information on Xupiter, including how to get
rid of it:
