When I re-size the Media Center Window, it freezes or
goes black. No error message appears. The rest of the pc
is not affected. I have to close the window and re-open
it to the size I want. To maximize or resize down after
that, I must close the window first. I have tried
changing the display settings. I called hp and Best Buy
support lines, and tried everything they suggested. This
did work originally, but since I bought this in May '03,
I've had to reformat twice due to various problems, and
that stopped working along the way. One should be able to
resize Media Center Windows to multi-task. This is an hp
media center 864v, with a 17" flat panel monitor. 2.66
GHz, 512 MB DDR Ram, 160 Gig HD, Pentium 4, 128 MB nVidia
GeForce4 MX440 graphics. I've installed all the Microsoft
and hp critical and recommended updates, drivers, etc.
I'm new to this, and couldn't find that anyone has posted
a similar question. I don't know if this is the correct
category. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Have you checked for updated drivers for you graphics card, soundcard and
any peripherals connected to your system?
