I have an Olympus C700 camera that connects using USB. On
a new XP professional computer, it connects when powered
on, but the drive never shows up in My Computer as a
drive. So can't access it.
Camera connection works fine on two other XP computers.
Its pobably just some setting needs to be made, but I
don't know what. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

I had the same problem. I power cycled my mp3 player after it was plugged
in and it worked. Hopes this helps.

>Thamls, I tried that. In the device manager, you can
watch the removable drive appear and disappear as it is
turned on and off, but still does not ever appear in My
Computer as an accessable drive.
In another thread, some one said a drive will not appear
in My Computer, if it is not assigned a drive letter. I
need to find what service assigns drive letters and give
that a try.
