Every time I return from stand by, there is a error: a
network connection is unplugged. However, I didn't do
anything. Then, there is no reponse if I want to run any
program. Also, I cannot turn off the computer, can not
restart it. I have to push the power button to turn it
off then restart it. Once I restart it, the problem is
gone until next time after I stand by the computer.
I install the newest service pack but no help at all.
Please help! Thank you very much.
By the way, I connect my computer to the internet by a
router. The other computer at home which has the similar
connection doesn't have this problem.

Check your standby settings in Windows and in the Bios. Turn off the bios
settings and leave only the Windows power settings.
What brand of computer do u have. Maybe you have poor hardware.

Some network cards have "issues" on returning from standby.
