I have an XP with SP1 installed
Enternet and Linksys54G cards
System is slow to discover the other systems on the network which I believe
is the old Browse Master issue.
When I try to adjust the settings for Browse Master which should be under
the properties of File & Printer sharing I cannot as the Properties option
is greyed out.
I am logged on as Adminstrator.
Any ideas?
Regards
Bob

That's where the Browse Master setting is in Windows 95/98/Me, but XP
is different.
In XP, enable or disable the "Computer Browser" service:
1. Right click My Computer, and click Manage.
2. Double click Services and Applications.
3. Double click Services.
4. Double click Computer Browser.
