I just built a system with a Giga-Byte motherboard GA-
8iPE1000Pro. I have attempted to install Win XP Pro for a
few hours and it goes trough the initial setup and then
restarts. But instead of continuing with the setup, it
starts over again by doing the initial setup. In fact,
this last time I tried to install it, it said I did not
have a harddrive installed. So I did it again, and it did
the initial setup again. (No error msg about no HD this
time) I have a CD rom set up as master on IDE1 and a
DVD/CDRW Drive as Master on IDE2 and a maxtor 80GB SATA HD
on SATA0. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

I do that, and it does the initial setup all over again.
